# Can I create a Baby Book in a Tribu that already has a printed journal?

|| This article applies if you already have a journal printed every month (Mini, Classic or Premium) and also want a Baby Book.

**We advise against it: by changing the product type, your journal will be erased and replaced by a baby book.**

Create **a new Tribu** for your child instead. It's free: only the subscription (or, for the Baby Book, the purchase of the printed book) is paid.

### Why a dedicated Tribu?

The Baby Book works in a dedicated Tribu: members, photos and memories are separate from your other Tribus. Your printed journal keeps working normally in its own Tribu.
