# How do the chapters and pre-filled texts of the Baby Book work?

|| This article only applies if you have or want to create a Baby Book.

**The Tribu Baby Book is organized in 7 chapters that follow your child's first year, with pre-filled texts that you can edit or delete.**

The chapters guide you, but you stay free to fill in whatever you want, in whatever order you want.

### The 7 chapters

1. Before I was born
2. My birth
3. My first months (1 to 3 months)
4. My discoveries (4 to 6 months)
5. My development (7 to 9 months)
6. Around 1 year (10 to 12 months)
7. Highlight moments

### Do I have to fill in everything?

No. You can hide a chapter that you don't want to fill in ("Hide chapter"), then show it again later. There is no deadline.

### The pre-filled texts

They are generated in the language you chose when creating the book ([Which languages is the Baby Book available in?](https://faq.apptribu.com/en/article/which-languages-is-the-baby-book-available-in-dfizw/)). Everything can be edited and deleted: you can rewrite them, shorten them or remove them.

### Can I add my own pages?

Yes. You add or delete pages and reorder the book freely, between 40 and 100 pages.
